RE:                   SUMMARY OF THE JULY 25TH TAC MEETING

 

The following is a summary of the July 25th WCCTAC-TAC meeting.  The sign-in sheet is attached for mailed copies.

 

1.                  Strategic Plans for Measure J and STMP Projects – The TAC discussed the prioritization criteria and agreed to forward a recommendation (as outlined in the Memorandum in the TAC packet) to the WCCTAC Board.  Next, the TAC discussed the projects, project fact sheets, and timing.  Further discussion will take place at the next TAC meeting, along with a discussion of the State Infrastructure Bond (attachment).  All project fact sheets should be completed by the end of next week (August 4th) at the latest, including the Fact Sheets for the STMP Strategic Plan.  The TAC agreed to forward a recommendation to the WCCTAC Board regarding the “Subregional Transportation Needs” category in Measure J (“defer discussion on this category – and not accept projects for bond funds – until after development of the Strategic Plans, when criteria, etc. for this category can be discussed”).

 

 

2.                  There were no pubic comments; no additional business was discussed.

 

 

 

 

The next TAC meeting will be on Thursday,  August 10, 2006 at 9:00 am at

the City of San Pablo.

 

Next WCCTAC Board meeting – Friday, July 28th at 7:30 am. at the
