2.      Public Comment

 

      At this time, the public is welcome to address the TAC on any item which does not otherwise appear on the agenda.  Please fill out a speaker card.  Comments are limited to three minutes per speaker.  Speakers shall follow the rules of common courtesy and decorum.

4.      Continued Discussion on the West County Transportation Projects and Funding Sources (Measure J and Subregional Transportation Mitigation Fee Program – STMP) – Staff and Chris Wornum, Cambridge Systematics – HANDOUT – 40 minutes

 

a.                         Review growth assumptions and discuss initial cash flow projections for STMP projects.

b.                        Compare initial cash flow projections to project funding needs as identified in the Project Fact Sheets and how the cash flow affects projects that are in both Measure J and the STMP.

c.                         Discuss creative funding options based on potential project funding “shortfalls” identified in specific fiscal years.

d.                        Discuss WCCTAC Board recommendations or finalize at the September 14th TAC meeting.

e.                         Other issues related to Measure J and/or the STMP.

5.      State Infrastructure Bond for Transportation – Staff – Handout(s) – 10 minutes

 

A workshop with the California Center for Innovative Transportation has been planned for August 29th from 11 to 2 pm in Berkeley (flyers will be available at the meeting).  The purpose of the workshop is to “brainstorm” with jurisdiction and agency staff from throughout the I-80 corridor to discuss how technology advances can work with operational and/or infrastructure improvements to improve congestion on I-80.  Please RSVP to Nancy Cuneo if you plan to attend the workshop as seating is limited.

 

Staff will provide a verbal report if additional information is available regarding the State Infrastructure Bond for Transportation.
