RE:                   SUMMARY OF THE AUGUST 22ND TAC MEETING

 

The following is a summary of the August 22nd WCCTAC-TAC meeting.  The sign-in sheet is attached for mailed copies.

 

1.                  Strategic Plans for Measure J and STMP Projects – The TAC discussed the ABAG Projections 2005.  Kamala Parks from Dowling Associates will be contacting each jurisdiction to validate the ABAG assumptions for households/employment through 2030.  Chris Wornum discussed funding strategies.  Staff will prepare an “Issues Paper” to bring to the WCCTAC Board (along with the project spreadsheet) for Friday’s meeting.

2.                  The TAC discussed the potential State Infrastructure Bond, the timing, and its relationship to the Measure J/STMP projects. 

3.                  The TAC decided to schedule an extra meeting for September.  The meeting will be on September 26th at 9 am.

4.                  Linda Young distributed a flyer regarding available parking at the Richmond Parkway Transit Center ($3 per day parking fee).

5.                  Brock Winstead (intern) gave a brief report on the San Pablo Avenue Visioning project and the El Cerrito/Richmond San Pablo Avenue Specific Plan.

 

 

 

 

The next TAC meetings will be on Thursday,  September 14, 2006 at 9:00 am

and Tuesday, September 26, 2006 at 9:00 am

at the City of San Pablo.

 

Next WCCTAC Board meeting – Friday, August 25th at 7:30 am. at the

City of San Pablo.
