RE:                   SUMMARY OF THE SEPTEMBER 14TH TAC MEETING

 

The following is a summary of the September 14th WCCTAC-TAC meeting.  The sign-in sheet is attached for mailed copies.

 

1.                  Strategic Plans for Measure J and STMP Projects – The TAC discussed the spreadsheet containing the following information:  revenues from both programs; projects recommended for funding from the Measure J Bond and STMP revenues; and the information from the Project Sponsors’ fact sheets.  Staff will update the spreadsheet and prepare a Staff Report for the WCCTAC Board.  TAC members will be asked to review the Staff Report/Staff Recommendation prior to its distribution in the WCCTAC packet.  Contingency projects will also be added.

2.                  The TAC discussed the potential State Infrastructure Bond, primarily the project under consideration in the Corridor Mobility Improvement Account (CMIA) for the I-80 Corridor:  “I-80 Integrated Corridor Mobility Project.”  Detailed information on the scope of services for the Enhanced System Engineering and Management Plan (SEMP) for the project will be discussed at the September 26th TAC meeting.  Staff distributed the following information related to the program/project:  CCTA Staff Report for the Administration and Projects Committee providing an update on the status of the proposed state infrastructure bonds; a letter from the Alameda Congestion Management Agency requesting funding from CCTA and MTC for the preparation of the SEMP, and PowerPoint slides from the presentation at the September 12th SMART Corridors TAC meeting.

 

The next TAC meetings will be on Tuesday,  September 26, 2006 at 9:00 am

and Thursday, October 12, 2006 at 9:00 am

at the City of San Pablo.
