It is our mission to address the complex and multifaceted transportation needs of West Contra Costa County by providing leadership, vision and public policy development to create a comprehensive and cohesive transportation program that responds to our communities' present and future needs.
WCCTAC Board meetings are held the 4th Friday of each month from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
WCCTAC Technical Advisory Committee meetings are held on the 2nd Thursday of each month from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
WCCTAC is one of four Regional Transportation Planning Committees (RTPCs) in Contra Costa County and represents the West Contra Costa County sub-area.
WCCTAC recently sent a letter to the Governor and key state representatives advocating for transit funding to help transit agencies avoid the looming post-Covid "fiscal cliff". The full text of the letter can be found by clicking the header.
WCCTAC recently released a Cycle 2 Call for Projects for 2019 Subregional Transportation Mitigation Program (STMP) Update funds, making $5.3M available. Applications from project sponsors are due by August 30, 2023. For more information, click on the header above.
WCCTAC has returned to in-person meetings for both its Board and Tecnical Advisory Committee (TAC). The TAC meetings are held in the WCCTAC office and are in-person only. Board meetings are hybrid meetings held in the El Cerrito Ciry Council Chambers.
