City of Pinole Local Road Safety Plan

The City of Pinole is developing a citywide Local Road Safety Plan (LRSP) geared towards improving traffic safety for pedestrians, bicyclists, transit users and drivers. The LRSP would enable the City to enhance traffic safety for all modes of transportation and for all ages and abilities. Meetings Being Held Remotely

COVID-19 Limits Travel Training Activities

Due to COVID-19, the WCCTAC Travel Training program was placed on hold in 2020; however staff is available to discuss limited activities.  For more information, contact Joanna Pallock at 510-210-5934.

New Guaranteed Ride Home Website

511 Contra Costa has updated its Guaranteed Ride Home website, making it mobile friendly, integrating employee and college programs, and offering digitial reimbursements (such as PayPal and Venmo).

WCCTAC Now Offers Travel Training for Senior and Disabled Residents

WCCTAC recently added a new program for senior and disabled residents of West County.   Driving can become more difficult as we age, or if you have a disability that restricts your ability to drive.  WCCTAC has now developed a travel training program to help senior and disabled residents learn how to use transit (bus and BART), ferry and local city van services for senior and paratransit.
