West County Transportation Survey

The West Contra Costa Transportation Advisory Committee (WCCTAC) is conducting a scientific research study on transportation in your area, and you may have received a postcard asking you to take part in a survey.  This is a valid research study sponsored by WCCTAC, and we strongly encourage you to participate if you received the postcard.  If you have any questions regarding the survey, contact our office  at (510) 210-5930.


West Contra Costa High Capacity Transit Study

The West Contra Costa Transportation Advisory Committee (WCCTAC) is pleased to release a request for proposals for a High Capacity Transit Investment Study.  Proposals are due January 30, 2015 at noon to WCCTAC.  The Pre-Proposal Conference presentation and sign-in sheets,  answers to questions, and any amendments to the RFP, will be posted on this website.  Please check the Document Library page periodically for updates.

High Capacity Transit Investment Study RFP



To address the complex and multifaceted transportation needs of West Contra Costa County by providing leadership, vision and public policy development to create a comprehensive and cohesive transportation program that responds to our communities’ present and future needs.

We will strive to:

Ensure personal mobility for the handicapped, elderly and disabled citizens

Provide equal transportation access to commercial business locations, local and regional government agencies.

Find optimal solutions that balance the transportation needs of the community.

Respond to community concerns in a prompt, professional and respectful manner.

Responsibly administer programs and funds to achieve the highest standards possible and maintain the original goals and premise of the program.

Enthusiastically and accurately represent the citizens of West Contra Costa County in all communications, written or verbal.
